Wangari Maathai and Shaklee
When Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Wangari Maathai was Introduced to Shaklee Corporation in 2005, it was the beginning of a long and fruitful relationship between Wangari Maathai and corporate environmental leader Shaklee Corporation. More than 2 million trees have been planted in North America and Africa, and the joint tree planting campaign was the inspiration for a UN campaign to plant billions of trees around the world.
