We were introduced to the Shaklee products in January of 1999 from a friend. This was the start of our healthier lifestyle. I started with some of the cleaning products and some of the supplements in place of my prenatal vitamins. I was pregnant at the time with our 8th child. This ended up being my best pregnancy by far. I felt better and had more energy. My daughter was born in July however, later that fall I started feeling extremely tired again. I was wondering why? I finally figured it out after a few weeks of being extremely fatigued. I had run out of my Shaklee iron, and went back to using the iron the doctor prescribed to me that was sitting in the back of my cabinet. I figuring I would just use up what I had first, but it was quite obvious that the prescribed iron was doing nothing. So when I started back on the Shaklee Iron, I had my energy back.
My baby also had very sensitive skin. Shaklee laundry and personal care products were the only products that didn't make her break out in a rash.
We eventually switched all our products over to Shaklee products; personal care, home care, nutritional, sports and weight management. I was learning more about health and nutrition and I realized anything you put not only into, but also onto your body, gets into your system so it was important for my family's health to use only the best non-toxic products.
My children were healthier; I wasn't taking them to the doctor anymore for sick visits. I was always at the doctor with one of the children prior to Shaklee for ear and throat infections also for several other health issues. In the past 16+ years we have only been to the doctor for a sick visit ONLY a couple of times. And the last 4 pregnancies have been better than the 8th.
I started to share the Shaklee products with friends and family. (Kind of like if you were to share a good movie or restaurant.) This enabled me to help others with their health and earn enough money to pay for my products.
In the fall of 2010, I decided I wanted to share these awesome products with more people and to seriously start working my business. I wanted to help more families and this would help provide extra income for my family and retirement in the future. I committed to going to the Shaklee Global Conference in Washington DC and I brought my husband and two daughters with me in August of 2011. That is when WE realized all the possibilities that Shaklee had to offer and that we wanted to help more families get healthier and to grow our business.
My husband is now working with me and we are dedicated to helping families live healthier and wealthier lives!
Our organization is growing bigger every day and has helped over a thousand families live healthier lives and hundreds earn an income.
